There are also personal reflections by Fr. Elias Gweme CSsR, NEW reflections by Fr. Richard Reid CSsR and Fr. Ronnie McAinch CSsR speaking of how they have been truly inspired by our young Zimbabwean Redemptorists during their time in the region. Through the ministry of Br. Benjamin Posvo CSsR the Redemptorists run an aid agency called CADEC. One of the ministries is overseeing food distribution to the most needy. We hope to focus on Benjamin's work very soon. The Redemptorists also run a bookshop and publications centre in the heart of Harare. This ministry is also at the heart of who we are as Redemptorists. As well as the proclamation of the Gospel by the spoken word, Br. Tendai Tamai CSsR continues the tradition of the CSsR apostolate of the pen.

This section of our website is dedicated to telling the unfolding story of our congregation in Zimbabwe. We work throughout this beautiful country, and have a strong presence in Tafara & Mabvuku and Borrowdale. Our main pastoral outreach is through five churches in the Archdiocese of Harare. If you have just found this section, we ask your prayers for the work of our confreres, the people and the nation.
There's also an update on the ordinations of Fr. Elias Gweme CSsR and Br. Mark Chandavengerwa CSsR. More on this later..
As this section grows, we will get an insight into the lives and work of our many dedicated confreres in the Region. At present there are six priests, two finally professed brothers, and nine professed students. The students are already involved in teaching in a school for aids orphans in our parish of Mabvuku. Eight students are presently studying Philosophy at the Jesiut Arrupe College, while four postulants are at the beginnings of their training.
There are many more young men discerning the call to follow Christ the Redeemer and share their lives with the Redemptorists. Could you be one of them?.
